This is the Futaba S9253 Digital high Speed Rudder F3C Servo for Gyro
with High-Current Wire Lead and "J" Connector Pre-Installed.

This servo can produce high-current draw from your batteries.
If making use of NiMH or Li-Po batteries, make sure they are capable
of delivering sufficient Amps.

QUALITIES: Digitally enhanced microprocessors cut about 1/2 the response time
from transmitter input to servo response.
Dual ball bearings within the output shaft

COMMENTARY: S9253 Digital Servo Precautions,
-It is better in order to avoid long leads and Y-harnesses specially with
standard grade cables. If problems are skilled, start thinking about using
heavy duty wire like Futaba's hefty fat Series or Hobbico's
Pro Series ,minimizing lead lengths, and/or eliminating Y-harnesses.
-Current Drain: Futaba S9253 Servo is particularly made for high-
torque and high-speed, consequently quite high current drain is
normal at startup. For ultimate performance when utilizing this servo,
please review the following points.
(1) Always utilize a 4.8V NiCd w/gyro. Dry cells are rated at 1.5V
each making the overall voltage 6.0V which will harm the gyro.
(2) When working with systems along with the battery pack fail safe function it has
a higher cut-off voltage environment which will cause shorter
operation time.
(3) When installing the servo please always check pushrod linkage to make
sure there's absolutely no binding to be able to avoid excessive power
consumption and reduce the life span regarding the motor and battery.
Whenever Combined with GY501 Gyro:
Switch the GY501 servo frame cost function (Frm) from "NOR" to
"tall" to exhibit the performance related to gyro on fullest.
Setting Method:
(1) Press the GY501 FUNC+ or - key to phone the Servo Frame Rate
