Faster Tyre Mounting for Hobbyists

The HUDY large mounting bands are intended to make tyre gluing quicker and more consistent for RC enthusiasts. By applying uniform pressure around the bead, the bands help the tyre sit correctly in the glue channel and reduce the chance of trapped air, leading to a cleaner bond.

Which Tyres They Fit

These large bands fit a number of tyre types including 1/10 short course, 1/10 truck, 1/10 truggy and 1/8 off-road and truggy tyres. The purple colour makes them easy to find in the pits and gives a neat look to your tools. Each pack contains four bands for multiple tyre jobs.

Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some HUDY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 8-12 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.

Are these bands compatible with split rims?

Yes, they can be used with split rims provided the tyre can be seated properly so the band applies even pressure around the bead.

Will colour or elasticity degrade over time?

Like all rubber bands, repeated stretching and exposure to sunlight can age them. Inspect before reuse and replace if stretched or brittle.

How many bands do I get per pack?

Each pack includes four mounting bands, enough to handle several sets of tyres or to keep spares in the pit box.
