Accurate Hole Work for RC Suspension

The HUDY 107634 Arm Reamer helps hobbyists refine suspension arm bores on 1/8 scale vehicles. It lets you correct tight holes so arms articulate freely without introducing excess play.

Improve On-Track Stability

Tight or uneven holes can upset chassis balance and steering predictability. The HUDY 107634 reamer removes binding points to promote smoother, more consistent suspension motion.

Precision Machining for RC Parts

Featuring a 4.0mm cutting tip and 120mm overall length, the tool is sized for common 1/8 scale geometries. The hand-ground micro scurfies cut plastic cleanly, preserving the arm's structural integrity.

Using the Reamer Safely

  • Insert the tip straight into the suspension arm hole.
  • Rotate while applying moderate forward pressure.
  • Continue until the shaft meets the handle, then rotate while withdrawing to finish.

These simple steps yield a properly sized, non-binding hole ready for assembly and fine tuning.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some HUDY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 8-12 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The reamer cleans and sizes holes but will not restore metal wear. For heavily worn bores, consider replacing the arm or using an insert appropriate to the part.
No special training is required, but practise on a spare arm is recommended so you get a feel for pressure and rotation before working on race parts.
After reaming, fit the hinge pin or bearing and confirm free movement with minimal side play. If binding remains, re-check alignment and ream only slightly more.
