Stand Traction Upgrade with HUDY 107871

The HUDY 107871 foam strips are designed to add cushioning and grip to RC car stands. Supplied as two 1.5x13x155mm adhesive strips, they are a straightforward way to stabilise your car while you work.

Compatible Stand Models

These strips pair well with HUDY stands like the Touring Car Stand (#108150), the 1/10 Off-Road Car Stand (#108160) and the Off-Road & Truggy Car Stand (#108170). Added foam reduces unwanted movement and shields delicate finishes during maintenance and setup.

How to Fit

Wipe the stand contact areas clean and dry, peel the protective backing, then press the foam strip into place. Apply even pressure along the length and trim any excess so the strip sits flush with the stand surfaces.

Can these strips be applied to metal stands?

Yes, as long as the metal is clean and smooth the adhesive will bond and provide improved grip.

Do they affect tyre clearance when mounted on stands?

The low profile 1.5mm thickness adds minimal height and should not interfere with tyre clearance for most models.

What is the best way to remove residue if the strip is peeled off?

Use isopropyl alcohol on a cloth to remove leftover adhesive, testing a small area first on painted surfaces.
