Setup Smarter with HUDY Tungsten Ballast

The HUDY 293085 Pure Tungsten Weight is designed for racers needing precise ballast without bulky additions. This 10g tungsten disc concentrates weight into a small form so you can tweak balance quickly between runs.

Neat Fit and Secure Mounting

The tungsten disc is much smaller than traditional brass alternatives, making it straightforward to install. Its round shape is fixed with an M3 screw to stop movement under load, and the limited contact helps retain the chassis natural flex for consistent lap to lap handling.

Dense Material Advantages

Tungsten lets you add significant mass in a compact space, helping lower the centre of gravity and improve stability. Each piece is marked for fast identification so swaps are simple at the pits.

Weight Range for Fine Tuning

Available weights include 5g, 10g, 15g and 20g so you can dial in the exact balance you need for different track conditions or vehicle setups.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some HUDY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 8-12 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Position it where you need the extra mass to influence roll or pitch; common spots are near the motor mount or front bulkhead, but trial different locations to see effect.
Tungsten itself resists corrosion but check surrounding hardware and fasteners for compatibility; use stainless or coated screws to avoid galvanic issues.
Clearance change is minimal due to the small size, but double check body posts and undertray space before finalising the mount to avoid scraping.
Yes, it is suitable for both drive types as long as the chassis has an M3 mounting point and sufficient clearance at the chosen location.
