About the Honda RA273

• In 1966, Formula 1 regulations had been changed and indicated a move from vehicles with 1.5 liter machines to individuals with 3 liters. Having finally tasted success because of the 1.5 liter RA272 the season before, the green Honda engineers unfortuitously must start from scratch once again, plus the RA273 was not prepared until the Italian GP in Autumn of 1966. With Richie Ginther on wheel, the vehicle proved become more powerful than its rivals, and Ginther ended the season in a good fourth destination. After running through the majority of the 1967 season, the RA273 eventually offered solution to the a whole lot more improved RA300.
