The 1988 Sauber-Mercedes C9 was a competitive Group C prototype that helped mark Mercedes return to endurance racing. Tamiya's 1/24 scale rendition gives hobbyists a compact but authentic project representing that racing season and its distinctive livery.
This model includes Cartograf decals for accurate sponsor markings and delicate photo-etched parts to boost detail. The V8 twin-turbo engine assembly, revised air intakes and window fittings are modelled to provide builders with a credible reproduction of the original car.
