The Tamiya 1/35 JSU-152 kit recreates a key Soviet heavy self-propelled gun from WWII. Famous for engagements at Kursk and Berlin, the JSU-152 was effective versus German heavy tanks including the Tiger I and Panther.
Based on the JS-2 tank chassis, the JSU-152 first saw frontline service in 1943 and earned the "Zveroboy" or "beast killer" title for its heavy-hitting ML-20S 152mm weapon, capable of direct anti-tank fire and indirect barrages.
This kit presents realistic cast surface finishes and fine details such as the DShK machine gun and photo-etched engine grilles. Track options include belt and assembly types, and the build provides a satisfying challenge for experienced modellers.
