The Tamiya 41050 is designed to tidy exhaust layout on .12 and .15 engines with rear-facing outlets, shifting the muffler forward so it sits neatly under the chassis and improves exhaust line routing.

Fabricated from aluminium, the Tamiya 41050 reduces added weight while offering a stiff mounting point for the muffler, helping retain predictable handling during cornering.

Complete Hardware Pack

Your purchase includes one exhaust manifold, three nylon zip ties, two 3x30mm cap screws, two 3mm flanged nuts, two 3mm spring washers, a clear silicon muffler joint, FS-12 and FS-15 muffler gaskets, plus instructions to assist installation.

Fitment and Clearance Advice

Intended for rear-facing side exhaust setups, ensure there is sufficient space ahead of the engine for the forward-directed muffler. Check chassis and body clearance before final assembly.

Will this affect centre of gravity?

Shifting the muffler forward adds a small change in component placement but the aluminium manifold is light, so any change in balance is minimal. Check setup on a bench before running.

Can I use the existing muffler clamp?

In many cases the original muffler clamp will work with the new routing. Use the supplied silicon joint and gaskets to ensure a secure, leak-free connection.

Are spare gaskets available?

FS-12 and FS-15 gaskets are commonly stocked by hobby shops. Keep spare gaskets on hand if you service your engine frequently.
