Twelve months and a half after its impressive triumph inside IFMAR ISTC globe Championship 2002 with the TRF414, Tamiya continues to be extremely active in world race and it is currently designing its next winning framework, the TRF415. Drive train design is completely redesigned by placing rotating and heavy components only feasible to obtain high grip. More over, this configuration provides exemplary weight distribution leading to a tremendously without headaches to control framework.

A newly created drive train

  • Employs a 2-belt driven drive train.
  • Newly created gear pulley for reduced power loss.
  • Belt stress modified via parts built with ball bearings.
  • Features a 3mm thick carbon reduced deck. Motor is placed reduced as a result of a trimmed away area in the lower deck leading to less center of gravity.
  • Designed with a one-piece engine mount and bulkhead for improved motor cooling.

Reedy Race Asia 2003 Race ResultsBelow are race outcomes for the Reedy Race Asia 2003 that took place on November 15-16, 2003 in Bangkok Thailand. In this competition, Tamiya joined a prototype of its next top performance framework, the TRF415 Chassis. Alongside 3 TRF415 prototypes, Tamiya also entered one TB Evolution III, hoping to check the potential associated with TRF415 framework.
