Signaling the End for the Battleship period
The HMS Prince of Wales participated in several important actions at the beginning of WWII like the look for the German battleship Bismarck. She later on had the misfortune to be one of the first money vessels become sunk by airpower when she had been sunk by Japanese bombers and HMS Repulse. This set up kit illustrates the ship as she appeared through the fateful Battle of Malaya in December 1941.
