The Tamiya 89754 combines a sturdy 1/48 P-47D Thunderbolt "Bubbletop" kit with nine U.S. infantry figures to create believable service-area scenes. It is aimed at modellers who want both aircraft detail and ground activity in one box.

Construction and Armament Parts

This Thunderbolt kit reproduces the aircraft's heavy-set fuselage and engine area with accurate surface features. The sprues include four propeller styles, three belly fuel tanks and weapon components such as a 500-pound bomb and rocket launcher pieces. A pilot figure is supplied and two decal sheets give you marking choices.

Ground Figures and Accessories
