The McLaren MP4/5B debuted during the United States Grand Prix, opening round regarding the 1990 Formula One Season. The vehicle featured curved nose cone and sleek body lines for the ultimate aerodynamic efficiency. Other key faculties had been the trunk multi-arch diffuser and effective RA100E V10 Honda engine. Expertly piloted by Ayrton Senna and Gerhard Berger, the MP4/5B dominated the 1990 period, with Senna winning the motorists championship.
