The Jr HG Mass Damper Set with Ball Connectors is built to help control pitch and rebound on tracks with jumps and steep transitions. It is a practical option for racers who want predictable handling during landings and rapid elevation changes.

Materials and mounting options

Included ball connectors and adjusters are moulded from glass fiber reinforced resin for secure attachment under shock. The carbon plate bears mint green Japan Cup and Tamiya logos and the plate gives several mounting holes so you can experiment with different damper layouts.

Supported chassis and fit tips

Compatible chassis include MS, FM-A, VS, Super-II, Super X, Super XX, and Super TZ-X. With the FRP Rear Multi Roller Setting Stay (Item 15430) MA and AR cars can also be adapted. Note that some bodies or bumper setups may need trimming to achieve correct clearance.

Customisation and upgrades

You can add extra mass dampers separately to fine tune the centre of gravity and damping characteristics. This lets drivers adapt the car to fast straights or more technical track features.
