The GPM Aluminum Motor Mount with Heat Sink Fins is manufactured for the Traxxas E-REVO VXL and uses Aluminum 6061 T6 for a tougher mounting point. The broad fin profile increases thermal surface area so the motor runs cooler over extended runs and hard use.

By lowering operating temperatures the mount can reduce thermal stress on the motor, which helps longevity when combined with proper gearing and ESC setup.

Is extra hardware needed to fit standard E-REVO chassis?

The kit includes the listed screws for a direct swap. Verify the chassis mounting points and use the supplied hardware where applicable to maintain secure fitting.

Will fin size affect ground clearance or interference?

Fins are positioned around the motor area and should not change ground clearance, but inspect for any contact with nearby components after installation.
