The Yokomo D-182F - Competition Drift Springs are uncoated steel springs engineered for serious drift setup work. The progressive winding helps keep a consistent ride height and supplies a softer initial response for improved tyre contact, particularly useful when installed on the rear axle.
The progressive design gives twofold advantages. In rear position the springs increase traction and stability, aiding control during aggressive transitions and long-angle slides. Fitted to the front they lend a smoother slide character and slightly reduced steering aggression, which suits drivers aiming for a balanced slide. The rebound travel can be tuned to improve ground contact over rough surfaces.
These springs come in a standard 26.5mm length to support fine tuning. The linearly wound 1.5mm version is commonly used at the front to enhance steering response. Even with more sensitive steering gyro settings the springs maintain steady control, helping you extract consistent performance from your RC drift car.
