Accurate steering for competitive drifting

The Yokomo DPP-302V4PB Racing Performer V4 Steering Gyro delivers stable steering performance for drift drivers. The quad configuration gives four selectable modes to suit different driving styles. Its slim aluminium case with gold-anodized bevels is both functional and tidy in tight builds.

Mode choices with Dual Gain functionality

DPP-302V4PB incorporates Dual Gain Mode plus Dual Gain Control to alter steering behavior. Use the dip switch to pick ASSIST for added gyro correction, which helps when learning RWD drift techniques, or choose NOR to prioritise direct driver input for events.

Tuneable SOFT and HARD settings

The Dual Gain Control allows tuning from 0 to 100 on SOFT and HARD ranges so you can manage initial reaction and mid-course stability. SOFT is suited to low to medium grip surfaces like tile or carpet, while HARD suits faster tracks and drivers wanting a snappier response.

Practical design and servo requirements

The slimmed down case makes the switches more visible and easier to reach during trackside adjustments. This gyro requires digital servos; analogue servos may not give the intended performance. With a 2-channel transmitter and receiver the unit will operate in 2-channel mode without needing a 3-channel input.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
SOFT mode reduces the gyro's initial bite, making drift entries smoother and helping maintain front grip on surfaces like carpet and tile.
Yes, it works with standard 2-channel receivers and will default to 2-channel operation without a dedicated 3-channel line.
Verify you are using a digital servo, confirm dip switch mode, and adjust Dual Gain settings gradually from low to high to find the best balance.
