The Yokomo MS-BWR5 Brass Rear Balance Weight is produced for the MS1.0 chassis to give a deliberate rear mass bias that steadies the car through fast sections. It locates ahead of the rear bulk, avoiding the rear belt and keeping the chassis free to flex naturally.

Why add brass ballast to the rear

Because of its density, brass lets you concentrate weight in a small package for effective ballast tuning. Mounting the weight at the rear of your MS1.0 can enhance rear-end grip and improve driveability for competitive club racing.
