Tuning Spring for Sharper Response

The 25mm coil spring is intended as an individual tuning component for 1/10 scale drift and touring cars. It carries a green marking to indicate a harder spring rate and is not supplied as a complete shock unit.

Add this spring to achieve reduced body roll and faster lateral reaction, useful for slide-focused driving. Its harder rate shifts how load is transmitted through the suspension and will change the interaction with your shock pistons and oil viscosity.

Fitment follows the usual method for 25mm free-length springs: compress onto the shock shaft or seat per your shock design, adjust spring preload to reach the wanted ride height, then test and refine. Swap matched pairs or change one spring at a time to measure impact on balance.

Use this component as part of a wider 1/10 suspension tune; ensure your car accepts 25mm springs and plan spring rates in conjunction with shock oil, piston size, and anti-roll choices.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Expect firmer corner entry with reduced squat and quicker lateral transitions; mid-corner behavior depends on shock damping and tyre grip, so tune oil and pistons accordingly.
Possibly. A stiffer spring can require altered damping to maintain balance; if handling feels harsh or unsettled, try adjusting piston size or oil weight to complement the new rate.
For predictable results, fit matched springs on an axle. Changing a single corner is useful for testing but may create uneven balance until matched.
