The HUDY 814102-M product is a two-piece set of 1/10-scale front carpet inserts for 1/10 4WD off-road RC cars, specified in a Medium carpet profile for carpet venue use.

As a tuning component the insert changes steering bite and turn-in on carpet surfaces. Since these mount to the front wheels, expect handling shifts at the front axle relative to other compounds or profiles.

Fitting is straightforward: remove the front wheel, place the carpet insert on the wheel inner face with correct orientation, then remount the wheel and verify even seating. No specialised tooling is required; always perform a low-speed spin check to ensure there is no interference.

Tuning guidance: a Medium insert provides a balance of traction and responsiveness. If front understeer rises after fitment, address front toe and ride height during setup iterations rather than relying only on transmitter trims.
