This aluminium hold-down kit is intended for TRAXXAS vehicles and supports typical 1/6 scale electric battery packs. Built from 7075-T6 for minimal flex, the kit uses snap-lock clamps along with 3M adhesive foam pads to limit battery movement during aggressive driving and on uneven terrain. The focus is on dependable retention and easy installation while letting the modeller decide pack placement and tuning setup.

Mounting can be carried out with the provided flat head screws or by using the 3M adhesive pads where chassis access is restricted. The snap-lock clamps provide a consistent clamping position for standard 1/6 packs and the aluminium base helps prevent pack drift. For best results, position the battery to preserve the vehicle's centre of gravity and fasten using screws into existing bosses or use the adhesive pads when screws are not an option.
