This HUDY 105253 Octopus mounting band is intended to hold 1/8 off-road tyres steady during adhesive cure, helping secure consistent bead-to-wheel contact without altering the tyre profile.

By applying balanced radial pressure, the band lowers the chance of uneven spots and helps the glue set with an even film. That stability is useful when tuning tyre compound or ride balance.

Use is straightforward: mount the tyre, apply your chosen adhesive, then seat the band over the tyre so the bead rides evenly against the rim. Keep it in place until the adhesive has fully cured following the adhesive instructions.

With four pieces included, the set makes it easy to prepare multiple tyres for testing and setup changes while keeping prep consistent.
