Will this chassis accept common aftermarket mods?

This plate is made for the XRAY XT2 footprint. Many aftermarket parts will fit, but confirm hole patterns and clearances before fitting non-XRAY components.

Should I try to straighten a bent chassis?

Minor bends are normal. Gentle adjustments can be made carefully, but avoid heavy hammering or heat which can damage temper and fitment.

Does the coating add significant weight?

The robotic black coating is very thin and has negligible impact on weight. Its main role is to protect the aluminium surface from everyday scuffs.
