Performance-focused shaping on the XRAY Beta 2

The XRAY 329707 body has been developed for 1/10 2WD off-road buggies and uses a 0.75mm wall thickness to provide a blend of light weight and usable strength. The Beta 2 contour is tuned to improve aerodynamic balance, helping the buggy track straighter and respond more predictably during jumps and tight turns.

Updated contours that enhance handling

Key revisions in the Beta 2 shell are aimed at real-world handling improvements:

  • High-Downforce Front: The front section is shaped to add downforce and sharpen initial turn-in response.
  • Mid-Body Downforce: Elevated mid panels create a stable centre section for less mid-corner drift.
  • Smooth Flow Channel: A continuous top channel reduces turbulent airflow and helps rear stability.
  • Straight Sidewalls: Vertical sidewall profiles improve lateral control and prediction through corners.

Specifications

  • Material Thickness: 0.75mm
  • Compatibility: 1/10 Scale 2WD Off-Road Buggies
  • Design: Low-profile with enhanced aerodynamics

If you are fitting a new race body, the XRAY 329707 Beta 2 delivers cleaner airflow and better steering feel without adding unnecessary mass to your setup.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Some drivers will notice firmer front bite and may soften front springs or adjust damping to keep balance after fitting the body.
Trimming a small rear flap can reduce lift on landings; trial small cuts and evaluate flight attitude before committing to larger trims.
Apply thin, even coats of polycarbonate paint and allow adequate cure time; avoid heavy builds that can alter the effective fit over posts.
