The XRAY 351120 XT8 chassis is fabricated from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium and finished with a hardcoat for improved surface durability. CNC machining trims material from non-critical areas to produce a 3mm plate that is both robust and light, lowering mass under key components for better stability.

Optimised Mass Distribution

This chassis arranges heavy parts centrally to deliver neutral left-right balance and predictable corner behaviour. Countersunk screws keep the underside smooth, reducing the chance of catching debris or upsetting airflow during runs.

Coating Quality and Practical Guidance

The hardcoating operation is automated to deliver consistent results across parts. Occasional tiny cracks near openings are a normal side effect of the process and do not compromise chassis performance or longevity.
