Will this change the rear geometry compared to stock?

You can alter roll center and shock top positions compared to standard settings, so geometry changes depend on which holes you select. It gives more options rather than forcing a single geometry.

Do I need different screws when fitting this part?

Most of the time the original hardware will work, but check screw length against the thicker aluminium section and replace any that bottom out or are too short.

Is the finish corrosion resistant?

Swiss 7075 T6 is corrosion resistant compared to softer alloys, but avoid prolonged salt exposure and clean components after wet runs to maintain the finish.
