What the bearing set does

This kit fits Tamiya M03, M03L, M04M and FF02 on-road chassis and includes sealed 2RS bearings to replace worn stock units. Sealed bearings keep lubrication in and dirt out, restoring quiet, low-resistance rotation to wheels, differentials and shafted components.

Use this upgrade when you detect drag, uneven spin or drivetrain noise. Correct bearings reduce binding and rolling resistance, helping you dial in consistent handling for both practice laps and street runs.

Fitment advice: press bearings into hubs, carriers and gearbox housings with a suitable driver. Ensure the bearing is square before pressing and do not lever against the seal edge. After fitting, verify free spin and check for endplay at each point.

Service notes: while sealed bearings need less routine attention than open types, inspect periodically for roughness, axial play or grease leakage. Swapping bearings is an efficient way to lower drivetrain losses without altering gearing or suspension fundamentals.

They are intended as direct replacements for the bearing positions used on the listed Tamiya platforms, provided your model uses the same stock sizes.
A proper bearing press or driver set is best; if using alternative tools, protect the seal and apply even pressure to avoid damage.
Reducing bearing drag can improve rolling efficiency and responsiveness, which may produce small but measurable improvements in consistency and lap pace.
