This aluminium battery post set replaces the stock plastic posts on the Tamiya TA05-IFS chassis to deliver a firmer battery mount and more consistent pack positioning for accurate setup and predictable lap-to-lap behaviour.

Fitting is a straightforward replacement using the original TA05-IFS screws and mounting points. The posts are designed to work with existing TA05-IFS battery trays and straps, so no extra components are required for a standard swap. Make sure strap clearance and alignment are correct before final torque to avoid stressing the battery case or tray.

For tuning, metal posts reduce flex compared to worn plastic mounts and help keep the battery settled under cornering forces and during hard acceleration or braking. More consistent battery placement can lead to subtle but important improvements in balance and handling during setup iterations.
