Application notes: use shims as thin spacers between bearings, shafts, hubs, or mount points to address axial slack, refine gear mesh, or align components. Each shim is a fixed 3.0mm thickness so stacking options let you obtain intermediate clearances without modifying parts.

Installation tips: clean mating surfaces to prevent trapped debris during fitting, align shim edges flush with housings to avoid interference, and recheck clearances after tightening hardware. Consider threadlocker or locknuts in areas exposed to vibration.
