YS-700 Shock Fluid Specification

The Yokomo YOKYS700 Super Blend Shock Oil is a single-viscosity silicone fluid made for 1/10 scale touring cars and buggies. Its 700cSt thickness yields heavier damping characteristics, slowing shaft return and strengthening compression control for drivers seeking reduced chassis wander.

When fitting this oil, follow standard shock assembly: clean the shock bodies and pistons thoroughly, replace seals and shims where needed, then fill to the recommended level while agitating to remove air bubbles before final assembly.

As a tuning step, combine changes in oil viscosity with piston selection, spring rates, and preload to refine handling. Store the bottle sealed, avoid exposure to heat, and do not mix with non-silicone fluids to prevent unpredictable performance.
