Fine-tune body clearance

The Yokomo BD-ABM6 kit provides a sleeve that fits over a 6mm body post to permit subtle body-height adjustments on 1/10 on-road and drift models. It is intended for situations where minor trim or replacement is not desirable.

Adjust the sleeve position and lock it with the supplied adjustable nut and O-ring to raise or lower the body in small increments. This helps eliminate rubbing and lets you tweak front-to-rear rake for improved balance during driving.

Installation is quick: slide the sleeve on, set the position, then secure the nut and O-ring. Always re-check clearance after installation and tighten as needed. The item is sold as an RC model accessory only.

How precise are the adjustments with the BD-ABM6?

The sleeve allows very small incremental changes controlled by how far you position it on the post and lock it. It is suitable for fine tuning rather than large height changes.

Will it fit aftermarket body posts?

If the aftermarket post is the common 6mm style, the sleeve should fit. Some non-standard posts may require checking diameter and shoulder profile before use.

Does this change require body trimming?

Often the adapter lets you avoid trimming by providing the extra clearance you need. However, larger height changes might still need trimming or different posts.
