ZX7.5 centre differential aluminium closure

This Kyosho LAW86 aluminum center differential cap is produced as a replacement part for use with the LAZER ZX7.5 center differential assembly. It closes the diff housing and retains internal components, helping maintain gear alignment and preventing unwanted movement under load.

The cap is intended specifically for the LAZER ZX7.5 differential configuration. Do not assume cross-model compatibility without checking mounting geometry and screw positions. It mirrors the ZX7.5 mounting pattern to match the original cover.

Installation follows standard diff service practice: remove the cover, inspect gears and bearings, arrange the internal parts, then seat the aluminum cap and secure with the original screws to the manufacturer's torque recommendations. Avoid over-tightening and confirm free rotation after fitting.

From a tuning perspective the cap ensures stable assembly and consistent preload retention; it does not itself change the diff tuning, which is determined by internal settings and fluids. Use the cap when carrying out rebuilds, maintenance or replacing damaged original parts on the ZX7.5 centre differential.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The cap secures internals so that preload and settings remain consistent, but any handling changes are produced by internal adjustments and lubricant choice rather than the cap itself.
Follow routine diff service steps: clean components, set shims or spacers as required, then fit the cap and tighten screws to specified torque. Recheck rotation and make small adjustments if needed.
A rigid, well-fitted cap helps preserve alignment and repeatable preload, which aids consistent tuning outcomes, but the cap alone does not tune the diff.
