Light Blue Aluminum C Hub for TL-01 Series

This aluminium C hub is made as an RC-scale replacement for Tamiya TL-01, GF-01 and WR-02 chassis layouts. Finished in light blue, it replaces the stock plastic hub with a metal part that gives a stable surface for steering knuckles and lower suspension link fixings.

Role in the chassis: the C hub fixes the steering knuckle and provides anchor points for lower links. Switching to a machined aluminum hub can improve repeatability in suspension geometry and strengthen mounting stability during both setup and tuning phases. It is sold as a like-for-like replacement for the named chassis types.

Installation notes

• Take the original C hub off the knuckle and transfer any bushings or shims before fitting the aluminium component.
• Inspect screw lengths and ensure correct thread engagement to prevent interference with the knuckle assembly or bearings.
• Once installed, verify wheel alignment and check suspension travel, adjusting toe and camber as required.

Tuning considerations

• Metal C hubs often provide more consistent bearing seats and less flex than certain plastics, which may alter steering response and cornering characteristics.
• When tuning, run comparison tests using the same tyre and shock setups to determine how the hub affects handling balance.
