This split upper deck rear is an aftermarket component made for the ARC A11 platform and listed as Factory Pro O-ARCP06. It uses a 2mm graphite plate shaped to replace the rear upper deck while maintaining the original split layout found on ARC A11 cars.
Operationally, the rear upper deck modifies the local torsional stiffness behind the radio tray and alters how the rear responds under cornering loads. Swapping to this graphite plate changes the stiffness distribution so tuners can dial in mid to high speed rear traction and overall chassis balance without adjusting suspension geometry.
Installation is intended for experienced hobbyists: remove the standard rear upper deck, transfer necessary mounts or spacers to the new part, align both split sections and secure with the original hardware. Check motor, servo and radio tray clearances before final tightening.
Tuning notes: increasing stiffness in the rear deck often reduces chassis roll and can stabilise traction transfer at corner exit, whereas a softer deck can favour grip in low traction situations. Make incremental adjustments and evaluate handling over multiple runs; treat this plate as a tuning option within a full setup strategy.
