Purpose and tuning benefits

This alloy front steering knuckle set is an RC-scale replacement part designed for ARRMA 1/5 Kraton/Outcast 8S BLX platforms. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminium, the knuckles accept larger bearings than stock to increase contact surface and bearing preload options. Front hub nuts are aluminium 7075-T6 with an anti-loosening fastening detail using supplied 3x6 round head screws to keep the hub secure under heavy loads.

Installation notes: the knuckles provide three tie-rod mounting positions to tune steering roll and Ackermann characteristics without changing the steering linkage geometry. Bearings supplied are oversized relative to the original parts, so verify fit and orientation during assembly and check clearance with the brake and wheel hub components.

Tuning role: using stiffer alloy knuckles and larger inner/outer bearings can reduce deflection and improve steering consistency under high torque and rough terrain, making this a common upgrade for drivers seeking firmer front-end response.

Use this knuckle set to tighten steering feel and support larger bearings on powerful 1/5 ARRMA 8S platforms; always check bearing alignment and hub clearance during setup.

Expect reduced flex in the front hubs and crisper turn-in due to the alloy material and larger bearings; this often yields more consistent steering under throttle and on rough surfaces.
The kit includes oversized bearings: outer 12x26x8 mm and inner 17x28x7 mm to improve load handling and reduce wear on contact surfaces.
Yes. They are intended as replacements for the factory part numbers shown under Original Name / Part No: ARA330558+ARA340158+ARA330582 for the compatible ARRMA models.
Included fasteners, lock nuts and aluminium hub nuts are supplied to complete the swap; verify thread engagement and torque specs during installation.
After fitting, check full lock-to-lock movement, confirm no interference with brake or wheel hub components, then perform a low-speed test run to verify steering response before full-power use.
