Tuning upgrade: hardened CVD shafts for improved drivetrain alignment

The MAKM071F/RS front and rear CVD drive shafts are aftermarket replacement parts compatible with ARRMA Mini Kraton 3S models. Fabricated from 4140 steel and treated with a blackened hardening finish, these shafts measure 71mm from pin center to pin center and serve as direct replacements for the original ARA-2668. They are offered as scale drivetrain components for the 1/16 Mini Kraton and are intended to strengthen the drivetrain under performance use.

As a tuning upgrade, the increased material strength helps the shafts maintain alignment under load, reducing flex and the potential for premature wear seen in softer stock pieces. Verify retaining pins and e-clips are correctly seated and confirm the 71mm measurement during installation to preserve correct geometry after the upgrade.
