Tune Ride Height with Aluminium Shock Collars

This set of alloy shock collars is an aftermarket tuning accessory for 1/16 ARRMA MINI KRATON 3S vehicles. CNC-style machining from aluminium ensures consistent fit and reduced inertia on shock shafts, giving a reliable adjustment point for preload and ride height on the suspension.

The collars use threaded bodies with accurate threads to permit controlled, repeatable adjustments during track sessions or field runs. Anodised finishes enhance resistance to abrasion and help protect against dirt and moisture exposure commonly found in off-road use. This component is intended for RC suspension tuning only, not for full-size applications.

To install, slide the collar onto the shock shaft above or below the spring retainer depending on your configuration, then rotate to set preload or ride height. Verify uniform seating on all four corners and ensure the springs move freely after adjustment. Matching the collars with correct shaft sizes and suitable springs preserves damping characteristics and handling balance.
