This upgrade part is built for ARRMA vehicles, replacing the original plastic servo mount and horn with a 7075 aluminium assembly for greater rigidity and easier servicing. The kit makes use of 7075 where noted to stiffen critical areas and ships with a fitted 25T servo horn along with a 23T servo saver steering tube for alternate use.
The sprung servo horn reduces shock transmitted to the servo output and lowers peak load during severe impacts typical in off-road running. Screws are supplied dry so you can position the 23T steering tube as required before applying threadlocker; use threadlocker after final assembly to secure hardware.
Installation notes: verify the servo spline matches the supplied horn and use the provided grade 12.9 screws plus stainless shims to set preload and alignment. This component helps with chassis setup and tuning by simplifying servo removal while keeping steering geometry consistent.
Use this 7075 mount and horn when replacing plastic steering parts on supported ARRMA models; assemble supplied parts, secure with threadlocker after final checks, and confirm spline and alignment during setup.
