Adjusting diff behavior with high-viscosity oil

The Arrowmax am-210032 silicone diff oil is an RC accessory intended to alter how a differential damps relative motion. The 59ml vessel holds a heavy oil suitable for gear and ball diffs where a stronger fluid coupling is required.

With a 200.000cst rating the fluid strengthens internal damping, slowing gear movement and shifting traction characteristics. Heavier oils are commonly used to stabilise throttle bite, temper mid-corner rotation, and reduce inside-wheel spin on slick surfaces.

Service involves draining old oil, inspecting gears and bearings, then refilling through the designated opening per your chassis maker's instructions. Cycle the diff across its range to purge bubbles and ensure uniform damping before reinstallation.

When testing, swap only one axle at a time to assess handling changes and keep a short log of viscosities and results. Keep the bottle upright, tighten the cap after each use, and protect the oil from dirt and evaporation.
