The AR0017R aftermarket alloy rear sinkage dish rim is made for the Associated RC18T and supplied as a matched pair for RC-scale use. It is aimed at hobbyists replacing brittle plastic rims or those wanting a stiffer wheel mounting surface to improve consistency on 1/18 short-course and touring truck style setups.

This part emphasises functional improvement rather than styling. By providing a rigid seat for the tyre bead, it helps preserve tyre shape through cornering and supports fine tuning of offset and track width when used with the correct wheel hexes and shims.

Fitting follows a normal wheel change: remove the wheel assembly, transfer tyre and any insert, locate the alloy rim onto the wheel hex and check for runout and clearance prior to final tightening. After a short test, recheck hex engagement and wheel nut torque to confirm secure fitment.
