The SAK-D6818/BU is an aluminium rear big bore absorber engineered as a direct replacement for the Auper D6 chassis. It functions as a rear shock upgrade to modify damping response while offering a more robust aluminium body compared to standard plastic shocks.

Arriving in a blue anodised finish, this absorber is intended for 1/10 scale on-road applications. Installation is a simple shock swap onto the Auper D6 rear mounts using the existing mounting hardware and spring and shock-pin positions. No specialist tools are necessary; however, verify thread engagement and preload settings after initial runs.

In tuning terms the component changes damping feel and ride behaviour: pairing various springs, altering shock oil viscosity, and adjusting preload will affect roll and transient response.
