Design and protection

This is an RC-scale aluminium skid plate designed for Axial AX10 Deadbolt chassis applications. Finished in black, the panel acts as a rigid protective layer beneath the AX10 Deadbolt chassis.

Fitment applies only to AX10 Deadbolt models as listed in the product name. The component replaces the factory skid material with an aluminium surface that offers greater resistance to abrasion and puncture than typical plastic skids.

Installation uses the AX10 Deadbolt skid mounting locations and appropriate fasteners; mounting hardware is not assumed included. When fitting, confirm hole alignment, verify thread engagement, torque fasteners to recommended levels, and check clearance with suspension and driveline components before use.

As a tuning accessory, the aluminium plate increases underside stiffness around mounting points, which can reduce local flex and create a more consistent contact surface on rough terrain. Consider its effect when swapping or adding other metal hop-ups.
