This brass outer portal drive housing is produced for AXIAL Capra 1.9 Unlimited platforms to increase wheel-end mass and alter low-speed crawling behaviour. It can be used on front or rear portal housings when wheel inner diameter and mounting clearances match the part.
The brass construction adds approximately 64g to each wheel, which raises tyre contact force on slow-speed obstacles and improves the ability to recover from lodged positions through greater traction and stability. The housing outer diameter is 43mm, so wheels require an inner bore larger than 43mm for correct installation.
Designed as a direct aftermarket replacement for hobby rock crawlers and trail rigs, this unit does not include gears or bearings and should be installed with the supplied cap head screws. Always check fitment and clearances before final tightening.
