Reinforced gearbox covers for Capra front and rear

This aluminium gearbox cover set replaces the OEM plastic caps on AXIAL Capra 1.9 UNLIMITED front and rear gearboxes to give a more rigid mount for the differential assembly. Intended for RC scale use, the upgrade helps preserve differential alignment under stress and can reduce unwanted movement that affects low-speed crawl control.

The plates locate over the gearbox opening and are fastened with the provided stainless steel cap head screws to secure the diff housing. Because the plates are machined from aluminium 6061 T6 they increase the bearing support area and resist deformation better than stock plastic, so the differential carrier holds its position more consistently under load or when running heavier gear ratios.

Installation is direct for users familiar with drivetrain service — remove the stock cap, fit the aluminium cover, and torque the supplied screws. After installation check differential preload and bearing positions, as the firmer mount can change backlash and engagement feel.
