An aluminum protector crafted to mount over the differential case on the Axial AX10 Deadbolt chassis. It provides a rigid contact face for obstacles while leaving internal diff components and gear ratios unchanged.
Compatibility is confined to the AX10 Deadbolt family as noted. Supplied orange-anodized, the part is a bolt-on hop-up meant to stiffen and protect the chassis at the diff interface without modifying internal diff setup.
Installation steps are simple: remove the chassis screws that access the diff, place the protector over the housing, and secure with the factory mounting points. Standard AX10 Deadbolt installations normally need little to no trimming; always check screw lengths and thread engagement before final tightening.
Tuning impact: this protector is structural and does not affect internal diff tuning, but it can reduce flex around the diff which may change chassis feedback. Combine with lower link or skid upgrades for a tuned protection strategy during aggressive trail or crawl sessions.
