Designed for AXIAL Racing SCX10 II rigs, this front and rear centre shaft kit carries model SCX2037A. The assembly uses aluminium shaft pieces with a hardened steel joint to strike a balance between light rotation and robust coupling wear resistance.
The set covers two size ranges: short (S:100mm-107mm) and long (L:135mm-142mm), and is sold as a single replacement kit. Aluminium sections lower rotating inertia relative to solid steel shafts, while the steel joint keeps the connection durable under slow-speed loads typical of crawling.
Installation follows familiar SCX10 II driveline procedures, using the supplied screws and O-rings to secure and seal the joints. For tuning, the lighter shafts can improve drivetrain smoothness and may reduce electrical load during technical crawling, subject to overall gearing and motor selection.
A practical upgrade for crawler-focused builds where lower rotating mass and durable joint contact are priorities; check fitment lengths before final installation.
