This front and rear internal shock set is intended for Axial Racing SCX10 chassis and is constructed from aluminium with engraved markings to aid component matching. The kit is supplied as a pair and measures 90mm to align with common SCX10 shock dimensions.
Fitting these units requires removal of the factory shocks and partial disassembly of the shock bodies to mount them on SCX10 towers and axles. Basic hand tools such as hex drivers are adequate for the job, and normal shock oiling and piston seating procedures apply.
These aluminium internals influence damping characteristics and ride height, allowing fine tuning for scale crawling and trail performance. The engraved IDs speed up part identification and rotation, while the aluminium bodies deliver improved rigidity compared with plastic versions.
