Aluminium rear axle mount for Yeti XL

This aluminium rear axle truss is an aftermarket upgrade compatible with the Axial Racing Yeti XL platform. It functions as a rugged mounting point for the rear axle and suspension links and helps to hold geometry under load.

Use and setup notes: compared with stock plastic trusses, this aluminium unit increases stiffness at the axle mounts and cuts down on flex, which helps keep wheel alignment consistent during off-road runs and rock crawling. It is designed for structural improvement and repeatable setup rather than to modify suspension kinematics.

Installation guidance: removal of the rear axle assembly is typically required and most users reuse the original fasteners and link hardware. Verify mating surfaces and clearances to driveshafts and suspension before final torque, and check that the differential and wheel bearings rotate freely once installed.

The service and respons from gpm has been nothing but excellent, polite in the way they responded to mails, and the parts are of exelent quality if I could I would give more stars😀
It is intended as a direct-style replacement for the Axial Racing Yeti XL; minor clearance checks are recommended but major trimming should not be necessary on a standard axle assembly.
The part increases stiffness and reduces mount flex, which can improve consistency in wheel placement under load but does not change link geometry or suspension travel.
After the initial outing, re-torque fasteners, inspect for contact with driveshafts or links, and ensure bearings run freely.
