Fitment and purpose for RR10 Bomber

These aluminium hex adapters increase track width on AXIAL Racing RR10 Bomber compatible crawlers, offering a 23mm total hex assembly width that helps stabilise the vehicle on uneven rock and trail sections. They are designed for RC-scale use and pair with 4mm threaded wheel shafts and wheels using a 5mm centre hole.

Retention is provided by a Delrin collar inside the hex together with an O-ring, a spring steel retaining ring, a compression spring with washers, and a stainless steel screw opposite the collar. The combined system holds the hex firmly under low-speed, high-traction crawling so tyres stay indexed on the hub face.

Assembly notes: slide the hex onto the 4mm threaded shaft, check the Delrin collar is correctly seated, compress the spring and tighten the stainless screw until there is no axial play while the wheel rotates freely. Recheck alignment after a brief run and re-torque as necessary.

  • 22MM Stainless Steel Hex Socket Screws - 2pcs
  • 5MM Shim - 2pcs
  • 2 x M3.5 x 12 Screw Shaft - 2pcs
  • 2 x 10 Steel Pin - 2pcs
  • 5MM hole S2 Spacer - 2pcs
They are intended for crawling and work with heavier wheels if the wheel bore and hub match, but always check for rubbing and suspension clearance after fitting heavier beadlock wheels.
A light application of dry-compatible lubricant on the Delrin collar can reduce wear without attracting grit; avoid heavy oils that trap dirt.
Yes, standard O-rings and common retainers can be sourced separately; inspect the ring during service intervals and replace as needed to maintain secure retention.
