Bevel gear and pinion notes

This 3pc direct-fit set replaces the differential output bevel and motor pinion in Axial platform gearboxes. The gears are manufactured from hardened steel #45 and the bevel uses a spiral tooth form to smooth engagement and spread load during high torque events.

Included parts: diff bevel gear 38T (1pc), pinion gear 13T (1pc), M4*2.5*12 screw pin (1pc). Note: the M4*2.5*12 screw pin is not suitable for the Wraith platform; when fitting to Wraith models retain the original screws supplied with that kit.

Fitment notes: verify correct gear mesh and backlash when installing, ensure the pinion seats fully on the motor shaft, and apply an appropriate RC gear lubricant to the contact faces. Because the bevel is spiral-cut, keep axial alignment accurate to prevent uneven wear.

Compatible Models

  • Axial RR10
  • Wraith
  • Yeti(90026,90050,90068)
  • SMT10 AX90055
  • AX90057

A practical swap when replacing worn bevels or upgrading drivetrain longevity; double-check screw compatibility on Wraith variants and fine tune mesh settings for steady performance.

Yes, apply fresh RC gear lube to the new parts and inspect after the first run, topping up or replacing grease as needed to maintain protection.
No, the M4*2.5*12 screw pin is not suitable for Wraith models. Keep the original Wraith screws when working on those kits.
Start with a light mesh, rotate the assembly and listen for binding. Adjust axially and radially until gears run smoothly with minimal play, then secure fasteners and recheck.
The compatibility box lists supported Yeti part numbers; verify your specific chassis and housings match those entries before fitting.
